Prices, charts and coin logos come from CoinGecko. The coin list refreshes about once a minute while the app is open; pull down on the list to refresh straight away.
Each closed candle is checked against seventeen rules, one per pattern. Sizes are compared with the previous fourteen candles, and turn patterns need a trend before them. The exact rule for each pattern is in the Library tab.
After a pattern, the app looks a set number of candles ahead (six unless you change it in Settings) and checks whether the price moved the pattern's way. The base rate beside it is how often any candle did the same, so you can see whether the pattern added anything.
A setup starts when the price trades through its entry, or straight away if the entry is the price at the moment you save it. It then ends at its stop or its target, whichever hourly candles reach first, or when its time runs out. Results are shown in R, the distance from entry to stop.
That appears when market data can't be reached, usually because of a network problem. Market figures return by themselves once the connection is back, and setups are never measured against sample figures.
Everything you enter stays on your iPhone. Settings → Erase all data removes it, as does deleting the app. There is no account to close.
